The Combilift company was established by two engineers, Martin McVicar and Robert Moffett. Between them, they had over four decades of engineering experience when they founded the company during the year 1998 in Monaghan, Ireland. In just more than ten years, Combilift became a leader within the worldwide long-load handling market, providing machinery to over 50 markets worldwide. Supported by a trusted global network of distributors that have helped expand distribution into numerous markets all around the world and using their extensive knowledge and experience, Moffett and McVicar have built products that had sold 10,000 units by mid 2009 and are in high demand.
Beneath is a summary of several of the Combilift models.
There are a range of mast options for the C-Series Combilifts, while these machinery provide up to nine meters and lift capacities that top out at 25,000 kilograms. Engines are available in electric or battery, LPG or gas and diesel and the C-Series Combilifts can work within 210 centimetres wide guided aisles.
Combilift Straddle Carriers provide the ability to transport heavy, oversized loads such as fully loaded containers that weigh up to 35 tons. These loads can be transported all over a work site or facility and the Combilift Straddle Carrier can raise fully loaded containers where required, whether it be from the trailer to the ground, from the ground to the trailer, or from trailer to trailer. These machinery are a cost-effective, effective solution for many haulage, shipping, and distribution businesses, even those kinds with low throughput levels.
The SL-Series is much different from other side-loaders because of its ability to drive in four directions. This multi-directional steering is available with the cab on the right or on the left. This hydrostatic, all-wheel drive forklift could help companies in lots of ways, one of which is to enable facilities to have narrower aisles. It also enables the capability to block or bilk stack by driving forward. This extremely manoeuvrable kind of truck is usually considered to be a superior option compared to lots of conventional sit-down sideloaders because of the various extra features and capabilities.
