Lull Telehandlers
Lull telehandlers have been in production since the year 1959. They specialize in load placement. For more precise placement capabilities, their patented Stabil-Trak stability system provides much more accurate placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers offer different optional attachments and these telehandlers are available to help you complete all your requirements, while being safe and efficient at the worksite. When precision and accuracy are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to accomplish everything you require.
The Future
Numerous attachments have been designed and made to be able to make rough terrain lift trucks as efficient as possible. Booms, winches and rotating fork carriages allow the forklift to position materials in a more accurate way. The articulating booms or booms are available in 2 different extendible arms and could reach up and over structures in order to place loads on interior roof slope settings or in the center of upper floors. New products and attachments are being designed and developed all the time and will debut in the future.
A lot of improvements have been made with extra safety features becoming more prevalent. For example, load-reach management devices can automatically restrict the forklift's reach, based on the load being handled rather than relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized in order to know the load weight. This information is sent to a small electronic memory device which had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
Once the load is being placed into position, the memory would compare the extension of the boom and the boom's angle with the safety limits. There is an essential lock-up device or a warning system that prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the boom to fail or the forklift to tip over.
