FM GRU Tower Cranes were established during 1920. This family run business, FMgru, is found in the largest industrial location within northern Italy. During the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into an industrial and manufacturing economy, the company was working in the metal structural sector and welded construction industries. FMgru was involved in building pylons to convey electricity, bridges for roads, different types of presses, forklifts, prefabrication molds and farming machines.
During 1963, the business started crane production. The company eventually invested all of their human resources and financial resources in this activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest specialization level in the field of lifting.

FMgru presently makes and sells 4 different series of tower cranes. These machines are designed and engineered for various uses and there are models available to cover all construction needs.
Several models offer extremely flexible lifting options for businesses who are constructing small buildings and private houses. Self-erecting cranes have 1200 to 4000 kg capacity and offer 22 to 40 meters jib range.
Other units include topless tower cranes. These cranes have 30 to 65 meters jib range and a running capacity of 1800 to 6000 kg. Saddle-jib tower cranes offer a jib range of 58 to 80 meters. They have a running capacity of 6000 kg to 12000 kg. There are regular tower cranes which have no over sail restriction and are great for any construction or building project.
The Fdr56Luffing-jib cranes have 50 meter jibs and are outfitted with 12000 kg capacity. These types of cranes are particularly designed to work in tight sites and on high-rise projects where buildings are situated in close proximity to each other.
