The narrow aisle lift truck has been made to function in narrow storage spaces by increasing the ratio between the space and the width of the aisle. Yale makes the single reach NR and double reach NDR units which are used for aisle widths between eight and ten feet. The Yale Narrow Aisle trucks provide a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment that has different control handle and stance configurations and use best-in-class ergonomics.
NDR & NR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: To meet a wider variety of operations, there are numerous control handle configurations like the aft stance, the choice of fore, and the side-stance options.
AC Motor Technology: This technology offers strong deceleration and acceleration as well as fast lifting speeds. It has been manufactured for quick plugging so as to facilitate more responsive directional changes that combine to increase the amount of cargo moved in a shift.
Reach & Mast Assembly: The tapered roller and trunion mounting bearings are part of the mast reach assembly. This increases the rigidity and durability of the mast; along with the gusseted rear frame weldment, as well as the reach assembly carriage that are reinforced for long life.
Power Lowering: To greatly improve the overall throughput and production, Yale offers industry leading uploading speeds and lowering speeds.
Regenerative Lowering: Though regenerative lowering could lessen battery changes per shift it also works to maintain a lower oil operating temperature.
Electronic Steering: The electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps and therefore greatly reduces energy. The operator could adjust the steering tiller and the technician could adjust the steer effort so as to decrease operator exhaustion. During the start-up process, drive tire centers automatically initiate.
Order Selectors: Order pickers are also known as narrow aisle and very narrow aisle trucks. These machinery are designed for the manual handling of racked loads which are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors elevate both the load and the operator to its required height. This height could be more than 30 feet. Like most turret trucks they are usually rail or wire guided when utilized in very narrow aisle applications.
