End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are common in the material handling business for their extreme flexibility. These machinery have superior performance features that are somewhat similar to sit-down electric forklift models.
These lift truck units are ideal for warehouse environments which have limited space. The space required to operate these machinery are less than the three-wheel electric lift truck truck requirements. These machinery are an ideal option for applications which need frequent on and off access, because their stand-up design is an exceptional characteristic.
The reach truck is a loading device used by a variety of businesses that maintain a storage facility that involves the arrangement of finished products on pallets and supplies that are stacked or stored into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides easy and safe retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also a great option for people who prefer to store pallets of products they do not require yet in a way that is safe and efficient.
All basic reach truck models will have an out-rigging mechanism secured to the front of the machine. Telescoping blades are mounted to the out-rigging and can move up and down. The blades also have a hydraulic setup which enables the driver to pick up the load and move it over the out-riggers. This particular design not only offers more balance to the whole load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to move into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
When the reach truck finds the shelves which are designated for the pallet, the hydraulics enable the tines to swing into position and lower the pallet into the shelving, sliding the pallet into position. Typically, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet wide without any problem, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
